LIGHT HORSE SHOW

Note: having not held a show for three years, we are not sure what animals are available for competition.  We expect that we will have to cancel classes and adjust the program the day of the show.  Stalls may also be available if you require stabling.

Rules & Regulations

1. All exhibitors must show proof of $2,000,000 liability insurance coverage or entries will be refused.
2. Each Exhibitor must purchase and 2026 Exhibitor Membership prior to the Fair in order to exhibit.  Please refer to the membership section for prices.  Payment must accompany the entry form.  Exhibitors that have not purchase a 2026 membership will not be permitted to exhibit.
3. Entry fees will be dedicated at the rate of 10% from all price money.
4. In order to enter in stake classes, animals must have been shown and been judged in the open class.
5. No cross entering will be allowed.
6. Entries must be received by Friday, July 31, 2026:  Visit our website (www.navanfair.ca) for online entry form (Assist Expo) with capability to pay via PayPal. Alternatively, entries may be mailed to the Office
   Administrator, Navan Fair, 1279 Colonial Rd, Navan, ON K4B 1N1 or emailed to office@navanfair.ca
   • Although negative Coggins Test results are not required for horse entries, The CTAS recommends that exhibitors have all horses fully vaccinated and Coggins tested for the protection of themselves, their horses and other exhibitors.
   • Animals showing signs of contagious diseases or parasitic infections, e.g. ringworm, IBR, lice, etc., will not be allowed on the grounds.  If a Veterinary check is required, it will be at the expense of the exhibitor and the veterinary’s decision is final.
   • In addition, The CTAS recommends that all animals have proof of Rabies Immunization at minimum of 30 days prop to the show in order to comply with O. Reg. 497/17, which is in affect as of July 1, 2019.

MINATURE HORSE CLASSES

The following classes will be shown during the afternoon show:

1. Miniature horse, under 34”.
2. Miniature horse, 34” and over.
3. Miniature horse, tandem hitch.
4. Miniature horse team hitch.
5. Miniature horse multi-hitch
6. Miniature horse, Junior Driver, 18 years and under (may be accompanied by an adult)
7. Miniature horse, Lead line class, rider to be 10 years and under, lead by an adult.

The following classes will be shown during the evening show:

8. Miniature horse, multi-hitch stake.
9. Miniature horse, team stake.
10. Miniature horse, single stake.
