Rules & Regulations

1. One entry per exhibitor in any section.
2. All exhibitors 13 years and older must be a Member of The Cumberland Township Agricultural Society You must give your membership number when entering. Membership is not required for 12 years and under.
3. All entries must be produced or grown by the Exhibitor.
4. Entries must be submitted online using Assist Expo, or alternatively can be phoned in to 613-698-9206 or emailed to NavanFruitsandVeggies@gmail.com on or before Monday, August 3, 2026.
5. Plates will be available for Vegetables.
6. Judging will begin at 9:00 am Thursday, August 6, 2026.
7. All vegetables should be lightly washed, unless otherwise indicated.
8. Onions not to be peeled, but roots may be left on.
9. Blossoms should be left on beans.

1. Beans, Yellow (5).
2. Beans, Green (5).
3. Beets, table (3). Tops removed to approximately 1”.
4. Carrots, regular table (4) Tops removed to approximately 1”.
5. Cucumbers, slicing (2) 6” or longer – 1/2” stem still attached.
6. Cucumbers, pickling (4) 2” to 6” – 1/2” stem still attached.
7. Onions, White (2).
8. Onions, Yellow (2).
9. Onions, Red (2).
10. Peas, 5 pods.
11. Peppers (sweet), Red or Green (3) -1/2” stem still attached.
12. Peppers, Hot (3) – 1/2” stem still attached.
13. Potatoes, White (3), brushed clean not washed.

15. Radishes (4), leaves left on
16. Tomatoes, Red (3) same variety

20. Sunflower heads (2) – in full bloom (put in jar with water)
21. Herbs, 3 varieties, labelled, in fresh water.
22. Garlic bulbs (2), roots trimmed to 1/4”, stem to 1”

Novelty – Open to all ages – Prize Money is $5 for 1^st place only.

23. Oddest looking vegetable (any kind, naturally grown)
24. Longest yellow or green bean
25. Largest zucchini

26. Scarecrow – no more than 5 feet high- must be free standing and use things that blow in the wind

27. Vegetable/produce display, using a minimum of 5 fruits and/or vegetables, all grown by the exhibitor (max size = 17” x 17’)
